| Baddies' album, Do The Job | | Anybody fancy a trip to 70's punk London? That's exactly where you'll find yourself when listening to the debut Baddies album, Do The Job.
Caught somewhere between Sex Pistols and The Ordinary Boys, Baddies vocalist Michael Webster makes great use of his Essex accent to produce a high-octane post-punk sound.
Recorded at the prestigious Rockfield Studio in Wales, Baddies join the likes of Oasis, Queen and Kasabian, who have also had albums laid out there.
Recent single Holler For My Holiday is one of the stand-out tracks, holding up the post-punk image and sound, but it's not the only one to look out for.
Open One Eye flaunts bassist Dan Rowton's skills, whilst We Beat Our Chests exhibit's some Arctic Monkeys/Duran Duran-esque riffs by guitarist Simon Bellamy.
Complete with 12 Indie disco anthems, there's something for everyone on this album. Baddies are definitely worth a listen and are ones to watch for the future.
