Flamboyant Bella's debut single, Get A Reaction
| | Kinda disco, kinda indie, Get a Reaction is the debut single from Flamboyant Bella.
Trouble
is...it's not very Flamboyant. In fact, it's pretty plain. The music
has a definite disco vibe, bringing to mind the late 80's and early 90s
(and those days had AMAZING MUSIC)
and would probably go down well in the right kind of club. The
instrumentation is simplistic, and largely synthesized, which means
that the occasional string sections sound horrible, like the cat gut of
the violin strings are actually cat gut. And the cat is still alive.
AND THE CAT IS A LION.
And that's it. Three minutes, eight
seconds of disco. Nothing much else to say. The trouble with the song,
like so many other new releases, is that there's nothing to make it
stand out. It's not great, but it's better than cleaning your ears with
a blow torch.
