Sickeningly good - Sicking and Creaming | | First off, Japanese Voyeurs have created an EP with the greatest title
EVER. Sicking and Creaming. And what an EP it is, aside from perfectly
titled. A rush of Riot Grrl style punk from start to finish, vocals
lifted straight from a 10 year old brat with ADHD, a bad temper and a
hacksaw, and a feeling that these guys are doing this for the sheer fun
of things. So a request guys, keep yourselves exactly as you are right
now. It's
great, just write more songs. Bring out an album which is exactly this
but longer.
Which may eventually to be their downfall, as soon
as they start getting radio coverage I feel the song writing will
become a bit more friendly, a bit more accessible.
If you enjoy
music by Jack Off Jill, or anything else Jessika Fodera has touched,
then these guys are for you. The Sicking and Creaming EP is dumb, loud,
brash, but everything you could possibly hope for from a punk band. Get
hold of it, listen to those 3 tracks, and get creaming.
Which is easy to do when you see the singer. Woof. Whistle. Wolfhowl.
