Audience hooked by RBF's fun angle on ska
25/02/09 - Southampton Guildhall

Ska legends Reel Big Fish
(As published for Bournemouth Daily Echo)

CALIFORNIAN ska legends Reel Big Fish took Southampton by storm. The six-piece opened with Trendy, celebrating the ska way of life, and performed outstanding covers of Poison's Nothin' But a Good Time and A-Ha's Take On Me.

Front man Aaron Barrett revelled in the crowd's attention - he and the band took it upon themselves to teach the audience how to do "the ska dance", and closed with an encore of top hit Sell Out.

At a time when the music industry seems almost dominated by dark, sombre songs, Reel Big Fish are shining the light of fun and enthusiasm.
