Despite the title suggesting being cut off or away from society, the track makes this sound like a positive move, and generally a happier state of being will ensue.
Imagine a jamming session where Madonna, Justin Timberlake, the Klaxons and Calvin Harris each chip in a piece of their trademark styles to come up with a dancefloor friendly, indie-meets-electronica track.
It's easy to see this track being named a Radio 1 'Record of the Week' or 'Weekend Anthem', as it's accessible no matter what genre of music you're into, without being branded generic pop.
Disconnected is due for release on 06 March, with the new album Liquid Love following on 15 March.
