AFTER
lacklustre support act Palladium obtained a lukewarm reception, The
Feeling had a lot of work to do. However, they immediately dazzled
their audience with a stage show featuring neon signs, disco balls and
a mirrored piano.
Opening
with I Thought It Was Over, frontman Dan Gillespie-Sells captivated his
sold-out audience with an a capella finish to the current single. They
then embarked on Never Be Lonely as Gillespie-Sells launched into an
intangibly long note that he held on to with perfection.
Gillespie-Sells
performed a solo rendition of Strange and the band returned for
Together In Electric Dreams, and 2006 single Love It When You Call.
The
Feeling's encore took the audience by surprise, as the band donned
white marching band outfits and walked around the venue playing a
percussion opening to We Can Dance. They then finished with their own
version of Video Killed The Radio Star.
After an 8-month silence from The Feeling, I thought it was over... but it's not!
